Honey Slow Roasted Pears with Rosemary and Goat Cheese

Ingredients:

  1. 2 Pears (Bosc works well, but any pear will do)

  2. 2 tbsp liquid honey

  3. 8 tsp goat cheese

  4. Fresh rosemary (or thyme/sage)

Steps:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. prepare a sheet pan with parchment paper.

  2. Wash, core, and quarter pears and place on sheet pan skin down.

  3. Drizzle honey evenly across the pears and place 1 sprig of herb on each pear.

  4. Roast for 15 minutes, then add 1 tsp of goat cheese to each pear.

  5. Roast for another 10-15 minutes or until desired doneness (longer roasting=softer pear/more caramelization).
